Description:
This is the opportunity for the TLT to specialise in a specific project associated with Pathfinders, eg event planning, honors etc.... They will also have the opportunity to cover 8 hours of taught sessions from the Masterguide program.

Requirements

Age Requirement

Description
The TLT must be in at least year 13.

Pathfinder course pre-requisite

Description
Complete the TLT Program Level 3

Payment

Description
Make payment for the programme level

Orientation

Description
Complete a Club Orientation Program covering:
  • Pathfinder objectives and purpose
  • Investiture Achievement
  • Program format
  • Basic club policies including: finances, attendance, enrollment, etc.
  • Leadership style/chain of command
  • Discipline techniques and procedures
  • Club goals
  • Communication channels
  • Expectations

Special Operations #1- Club Requirements

Description
  1. Select an area of specialisation in consultation with your TLT mentor and area coordinator or conference TLT Administrative staff member. This could be an existing operation. (The option of using a created operation is available as in accordance with the manual but for SEC 2021 Cohort this option is NOT available) example of an existing operation would be Activity Operations)
  2. Agree upon two training areas linked to your specialist project with their tasks that will be completed at club-level. This will involve more responsibilities than were previously experienced when operational requirements were completed during your tenure as a level 1-3 TLT. The training areas will be derived from the Operation you have selected above in requirement (1).
  3. Work with the club staff as an Assistant staff member.

Special Operations #1- Project

Description
  1. Select and complete a special project that is beyond the scope of your Pathfinder club. This is to be approved in consultation with your TLT mentor and area coordinator or conference TLT Administrative staff member.
  2. As part of your project the TLT will find and obtain certification in an area of expertise that is relevant to leadership and skills and where possible should link to the training areas that are being highlighted in the special project.

Description
  1. Attend Basic Staff Training workshops and fulfil all certification requirements for completion.
  2. The TLT must complete a taught portion of the Master Guide curriculum.
  3. Assist in planning and teaching with TLT or Pathfinder instructors, two TLT or Pathfinder workshops.
